  • Parcel and courier services

  • Mail order

  • Packaging industry

Flexible conveying lengths

The Schmid scissor roller conveyors are available in freely definable lengths of up to 20 m. Individual tracks can be coupled in series mechanically as well as electrically, e.g. in order to extend the conveying length or to handle shorter tracks flexibly.

The scissor roller conveyor consists of segments of 1 m in length, each of which is equipped with a drive. The rollers are driven by round belts. Stable supports with mobile and lockable guide pulleys as well as handles mounted on both sides allow easy handling. Operating modes

The scissor roller conveyor is supplied with a mechanical rotary switch as an on/off switch, reversing operation for left/right running and adjustable conveying speed. It is also equipped with emergency stop buttons. Alternative operating modes are pass-through, automatic stop or cycling for conveying without jams.

Optionally, our driven scissor roller conveyors can be supplied with mechanical limit stops or automatic limit switch-offs. If the track is connected to a conveyor system, a signal exchange can take place, e.g. by light barriers and emergency stop.
